Ingredient compatibility

Niacinamide + Retinol: Are They Compatible?

No label conflict found

Why

Despite an old internet myth, modern research shows retinol and niacinamide are highly compatible. Niacinamide actually reduces the irritation retinol is known for, and both target different pathways — retinol accelerates skin turnover while niacinamide supports the barrier.

Usage guidance

Apply niacinamide first on damp skin, then retinol on top. Start retinol 2–3 nights per week. Daily SPF is essential.
